Mission Statement

Legacy Rise Academy exists to nurture, educate, and empower children through joyful, high quality learning experiences that extend beyond the traditional school day. From early childhood through elementary and middle school enrichment, we provide a safe, loving, and academically rich environment where scholars grow in confidence, curiosity, and character. Through intentional instruction, hands-on exploration, and strong family partnership, we are committed to developing lifelong learners and future leaders.

Vision Statement

We envision Legacy Rise Academy as a transformative learning community where children are seen, celebrated, and supported at every stage of their development. Our vision is to create a space where education feels like home, where joy and excellence live together, and where every child is equipped with the skills, confidence, and identity needed to thrive in school and in life. We are building a legacy where children rise academically, socially, and emotionally, and families rise with them.

Our Story

Legacy Rise Academy was founded on a deep belief that every child deserves access to joyful, high quality education in a space that feels safe, affirming, and full of possibility.

Founded by Tiayana Logan, a mother, educator, and school leader, Legacy Rise was created to respond to a real need in the community. After years of leading school operations, designing systems, and advocating for educational equity, Tiayana recognized that families were seeking more than just childcare. They were searching for a place where their children could be deeply cared for while also being academically prepared and inspired.

Legacy Rise Academy bridges that gap by offering a full continuum of support from early learning to afterschool and summer enrichment. Our programs are rooted in strong instruction, creative exploration, and real world experiences that allow children to discover who they are and who they can become.

We are more than a program. We are a community hub where families feel supported, children feel seen, and learning is alive every single day.

Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices

At Legacy Rise Academy, we believe that how children feel matters just as much as what they learn. We intentionally teach scholars how to understand their emotions, build healthy relationships, and navigate challenges with confidence. Through restorative practices, we guide children in taking responsibility, repairing harm, and growing from their experiences. This work builds empathy, strengthens community, and lays the foundation for strong character and leadership.

Families are our partners. We work hand-in-hand with parents, local organizations, and community members to provide resources, support, and experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.
